What does a Co2 Bubble Counter do ?

The friendliest place on the web for anyone with an interest in aquariums or fish keeping!

It allows you to count how many bubbles per minute/second you are adding to your tank.

There is a very crude equation for bubbles per minute.

KH x tank size in litres /40 = bubbles per minute.

But as I said its a very crude method.

So to recap the bubble counter is a way for you to know how much Co2 you are adding into your tank.

How did u come up with the equation for bps?

It was one of my LFS employees.

It is a very crude method and I do not follow it.

I would rather use kH/pH etc or a drop checker.
