What is growing on my plant????

Hi people, I'm in need of some help again!, I have had this growing for a while and haven't thought anything of it until I noticed it started to grown quite long. If anyone has had this problem before or knows anything about it please can you help me out?

That's just your Java fern reproducing. That's its roots. It will sprout little plants from the leafs and you can trim them off and replant them
