Today, I set up a diy yeast co2 system and I need a diffuser. Right now, I just have a chopstick stuck in the end of the hose. I do not want an entire reactor, just a diffuser, and I would like for it to be cheap if possible.
Thanks!

Cheaper, it's th cheapest thing I could thing of.
With and airstone most of the air goes straight up and goes into the air instead of the water.
You said it was a diy system.
Make a diy deffuser, try you tube.
I'm sure there are some awesome cheap ideas.

Can't get much cheaper than your chopstick piece. Put it under your filter intake. Better than an air stone.

Stick a small piece of a cigarette filter (unused, of course) into the end of your air line...... You'll see in this guys vid that the bubbles are fine enough that they're not reaching the surface.

I'd still recommend a cheap diy reactor, but this seems to work.

Ok, here's my setup, does it look good? since I made this video, I have moved the airstone under the filter intake, and about half the bubbles go in there. And advice is appreciated.
