Looks like dwarf hair grass to me but I'm no expert

Looks like emergent Eleocharis sp. acicularis.

I just planted some actually in my tank I am told it spreads out quickly but doesn't grow too much taller. Will let you know as it grows

The emergent growth is taller than the submerged form. And yes- It grows rather fast for a carpeting plant when provided with adequate parameters. Also, it is dwarf hair grass. It's just the scientific name.

Sorry if I confused you. JKeating is right about them being the same just common name verse scientific name

Oh lol its fine thank you both. I thought it was dwarf hairgrass at first, but the people at Petland argueably told me that its not. Just because its thicker and darker.
