What kind of plant is this?

I was just wondering what kind of plant this is. Came with my shrimp and was thinking about keeping it. I circled it with red.

Looks kind of like hornwort.

Will it grow fast or even at all with just clippings? I have no clue never had it before.

Yes it will grow fast and yes just plant the clipping in your substrate and it will root and grow.

I think it is hornwort -- unrelated IF it is cabomba it will grow like crazy.

Yes it will grow fast and yes just plant the clipping in your substrate and it will root and grow.

Yeah they can do well planted , but mine also do well floating near the light, greedy for the light ^_^
