What Should I do with this Gabrielli?

As you can see it's grown a buddy, I'm guessing it is nutrient deficient as I've been under dosing through negligence rather than intent. Other than sorting out the nutrients situation, should I do anything else (eg chop off buddy from main plant and then replant it in substrate)?

I would chop it off and plant it...the roots are already there.
