What type of Algae is this?

Is this BGA? I tried to look online but I can't figure out if it is

It looks like BGA (blue green algae) which isn't actually an algae but cyanobacteria. I hate that stuff... I had to cure mine with antibiotics from a product called Maracyn. Not to be confused with Maracyn Two, Maracyn (one) has erithromycin as the active ingredient.

I've read, but haven't tried it successfully, that BGA can also be knocked out with H2O2 , blackout, increased KNO3, and increased O2 levels.
 
Definitely cyanobacteria. I prefer to do the 5 day Erythromycin treatment so it completely kills it throughout the aquarium. If you use the Erythro be sure to vacuum out as much of it as you can before treating. Erythro will not harm BB and the only thing you might have is a slight ammonia spike due to the bacteria die off.
