What's this on my new plants?

They are hard and won't come off. Molluscs?

These are newly arrived plants. What would you do with them?

Maybe Nerite eggs. If they are Nerite, they won't hatch.

Just curious... Why do you say they won't hatch? Because there's no parents for them? Or the new fish will eat them?

Yup, looks like nerite snail eggs. Nerites need brackish water to hatch.

I believe they wont hatch because the have to be in salt water to hatch.

They only hatch in saltwater. Something about freshwater degrades them and they will be unable to fertilize and grow. They will dissolve back into the tank if that's what it really is.
