On the first day following a water change, is it better to dose the macros or the micros. My thinking is that the macros would be the appropriate things to dose, but I wanted to ask the folks here what they do.

I dose the macros on water change day and micros on the next day.

So how does it work with 3x a week for macros, and 3x a week for micros... I thought that on the seventh day, you rest (ie no dosing on water change day.) At least that how I always read it.

You're correct except that the seventh day of rest (no dosing) would be the day before your water change.
