Which is the definition of a "heavily planted aquarium&

I think my tank is pretty heavily planted. This pick was taken right before my last trim. Now I have to wait for everything to grow back in again.

It's a never-ending cycle..... :roll:

I'd say any tank that has more than 50% of it's water column covered in plant leaves, stems, roots etc. Of course, a 10g with one amazon sword qualifies as heavily planted even though it's just one plant.

I would say that the tank is heavily planted. Now further question here would be what constitutes as the next level below heavily planted.....
 
I think medium planted would be a fairly heavily planted tank with some swimming room for the fish, like those tanks in the competitions that are heavily planted on the left and right with a stream or path running down the middle.
