White spots on plants and glass
I have just recently noticed very small white spots on some plants and the glass. I scraped them off the glass and they came back a day later. Anyone know what this is.
Thanks |

If it's like tiny clear balls with white dots in them it's snail eggs. If it's not really white but more greenish - it's algae. But I bet they are snail eggs!

I'd bet on the snail eggs too. Snails can get quite out of hand rather quickly.

If they are wavy like (maybe looks like an anemone), could be freshwater hydra. If you do a google search, you might be able to find a link to a picture.
If the spots appeared very quickly, and in high numbers again, this is likely your problem, [acronym:e36e01d0c7="In My Honest Opinion"]IMHO[/acronym:e36e01d0c7]. Keep us posted.

Thanks all for the advice. It's not hydra or snail eggs. It looks like ick spots. The fish are fine. It's just on some plants and the glass.
