OK. Now I got all the solutions to test the water. Here are the parameters:

NO3= 10 ppm (a little under that)
NO2= 0
NH3= 0
P04=0.5
pH= 7.2
KH= 5 (88.9ppm)
GH= 9 (161.1 ppm)

The substrate is a blend of Eco complete and Fluorite, the lights 1.6 wpg. No CO2 injection.

Why is that my plants do not really grow nicely? The lotus is great, but all the others go yellow, and then transparent, and then gone! :?

Do the leaves grow in yellowish or is it old leaves? I'm guessing you are lacking nitrogen. It could also be your lighting (1.6wpg isn't much), depending on the types of plants you have. Could you give a better description of your tank (flora and fauna)?

You don't really have enough light for an amazone sword. barely enough for rotala indica.

Yellowing is often a lack of potassium, or traces (including iron). Any pinholes?
