why wont my drop checker change?

I have had my co2 off for two days. I have also had lost of serface agitation. And it is still yellow

I'd replace the solution. Mine changes farily quick. In the morning before the co2 kicks on, it's usually a dark green, verging towards blue. It goes up to light green farily quickly once the co2 kicks on. You're using 4 dkh solution, right?

Yes I am using 4 dkh solution. I will replace it and see if it works better...
 
I found out why my drop checker would not change... there was a large build up of Bio film in side of it...
 
That's a good reason... and one I never thought to even consider. I've never noticed this in mine, but I also have pretty good flow throughout my tank.
