Will Purigen remove liquid fertilizer like activated carbon removes medications?

Just wondering if Purigen works just like activated carbon, or if it is safe to use with seachem flourish liquid fertilizers and flourish excel.

I would say that there is a decent chance of it removing at least some of it from your water. I think Seachem actually explicitly recommends removing it when dosing any sort of organic medication.
