I just did the same and will be putting both of mine up soon. I'll wait to see how you do with yours, though the bulbs on these really should be replaced every 6-7 months. I found that any longer than that would bring a new algae problem.

I have the 48" version of this light, and i can attest to it's reliabiltiy and quality. If you're looking for a good CF setup this is the way to go. Very well built and slim design. I'm very happy with mine.
