I've used it about 10 times.. it works fine, but may need to be calibrated again.

they sell calibration kits for it... i did it with out the kit , using proper [acronym:197e5e2fa3="power head or Measure of the concentration of hydrogen ions, depending on context"]ph[/acronym:197e5e2fa3] etc.

calibration solutions:
http://www.thatpetplace.com/Products.../Itemdy00.aspx basically you get some sample water to 7.0 and adjust the device to read 7.0 and stay there.. thats it
