I bought this hot magnum a while back to use as a diatom filter. It has done a great job but for some reason the d-ring isn't sealing completely. I threw away the micron filter but the blue floss cartridge is with it.

I believe this is the 150 version of Hot Magnum. It does not have the biowheel with it.

Make me an offer if you feel $25 is too high. I figure shipping should cost about 8-10 ?

Did you try wetting the d-ring during installation?
