72 watts of light and moonlight

Good question. It allows you to adjust the speed of the 2 fans (built into the hood). This helps stabilize the tempt. As the lighting will warm up the water (especially in the summer) it definately helps to have the fans running faster during this time. In the winter, you can slow them down.

Its too much trouble for me to have 2 setups. I am just going to focus on 1 for now. Hopefully i will have 1 in the wall setup down the road (sooner than later.)
