WTB 20"-24" ballast (square pin end cap) - Aquarium Advice

I am trying to cheaply upgrade my lighting.
PM if you have anything sitting around waiting to be used.

Since you mentioned square pin end caps, I'm assuming you intend to go with PC's? You can buy a ballast at Lowes or Home Depot that will light them just fine. To light a pair of 65w PC's, buy a ballast that is rated for 4x32w. Either a Sylvania Quicktronic or an Advance Centium. Probably cost you about $25.

Thanks for the heads up. Hopefully they come in the size I need...have a narrow tank.

A 2x32 or 1x55/65 ballast can be had at Home Depot for $7.95. It is a plug in shop light that comes with a little electronic ballast. I uses these on a small prop tank.
