WTB darter

Looking for anyone in the state of Florida that has a way to get local darters? Are anyone with darters willing to sell.

Go to the NANFA website, they have info and a forum. You might be able to get someone local that goes collecting and will give you some. There's also a few dealers listed on the forum. Look over the site and forum instead of just posting a "wanted Darters" post, you're more likely to get what you want that way and you'll get lots of good info on keeping the darter species you're interested in obtaining.

If you have a local Aquarium society they may be able to help.

If I'm not mistaken Native fish can only be sold by people who have permits to sell them.

I have looked over the site and found noone with native darters that has posted selling any. Most native fish don't have to have a licsence to buy. I bought 100 large mouth base for a stock pond last spring. Just by going to the site and ordering them from Texas parks and wildlife. Indangered species is a differnt storie thou. Most you have to check your state importing laws and see if there allowed in your state. Like Texas and a ton of other states don't allow the large bodyed snakeheads and Florida don't allow (I beleave it's the red arowana ) Also new Jersy just banned the bared sunfish from hervisting and home tanks.

Permits/license to sell, not buy.
