Canister Filter for Skimmer - Aquarium Advice

Cascade 700 Canister Filter
-rated up to 65gallon tank
-185 [acronym:0ca02594c7="Gallons per hour"]gph[/acronym:0ca02594c7]
-360 degree rotating nozzles for kink free connections
-tubing + inlet and outlets
-2 baskets available for media
- silent operation

Cost me $90 plus tax.

I have a 55 gallon tank with a soon to be sump that will need a skimmer.

I'm looking for a decent skimmer - used or new - interested in coralife needlewheel skimmer or cpr backpack or used remora. If there is another type of skimmer you have tell me about it. I am not interested in seaclones(seaclowns). I need something that will work! If you feel this canister isn't worth the same I might consider adding some funds.

I could also trade the canister filter for a used overflow - about 600 [acronym:e110803b2e="Gallons per hour"]gph[/acronym:e110803b2e] and a pump rated 500 or so go ghp at 4' head.
