Looking for a carnivorous fish that won't bother my shrimp and Cory Cats. Also it's a lightly planted tank and I'd like to keep it that way.

I have a 40 gallon tank.
Any suggestions for a fish that fits that?

Thank you

Carnivorous ?

Tetras have teeth. They like meaty foods. Cories love meat based diets esp live foods.

What kind of Shrimp ?
I believe they're called Amano Shrimp.
I was looking at some Bucktooth Tetra. They seem a bit aggressive. Would they tear up my plants?

Bucktooths won't bother your corys, but I can't say for sure about the shrimp.
A better choice might be diamond tetras, or maybe Colombian tetras... Loads of options out there, though. Bucktooths get rather large, are best kept in larger schools, and limit tankmate options.
