My nitrates are high real high. In both my tanks in the100 gallon every thing else is good. But in the 30 ammonia is 25 and nitrate 160. What can I do

Been doing a little over 10% every two weeks the 100 Gal has been established a little over a year. The 30 Gal about three weeks

High Nitrogen
Hello Nil..
The normal procedure for a high nitrogen level, is a series of small water changes. Say, 10 to 15 percent of the tank volume every couple of days for a week or two.
Floating plants are also helpful. Anacharis and Pennywort thrive in water with higher nitrogen.
