I would love to get a ropefish. I've had ender and Senegal bichirs before. But, no experience with these relatives. I know they get big, my question is do they act like larger bichirs? And what tank size would I need?

Well I know for a fact that ropefish get to a maximum size of about 1' 3". Now about the bicher topic, the ropefish is actually in the order and family, bicher.(sorry forgot how to spell for a second ?

I don't know anything about the bicher, but I have a ropefish, shes in a 55 and only about 4.5-5 inches long. Its a good size for them, they grow slowly about an inch per year I've heard. Be prepared for you not to see it/them very often. Most of the time mine hides and I won't see it for weeks and think its dead then it just appears ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ good luck!
