uk sand supplier?

hi,

everyone in the USA appears to be buying their play sand from [acronym:d075e90737="Home Depot"]HD[/acronym:d075e90737] at a very cheap price.

does anyone in the UK know where a SAFE sand can be purchased for use in the aquarium?

i know that BQ and early learning sell it, but is it safe to use?

cheers

mark

Any tropical play sand should work. To check to see if it is aragonite you can test it. One way to test the sand is to take a small scoop full and drop some household vineger into it. If it bubbles and foams it is aragronite based sand.
