i am going to set up a 240 gallon tank and was just wondering. i like the angels alot. both dwarf and large. are they hardier than the tangs. seems like alot of you guys have tangs. not hearing about alot of emperor angels or large angelfish. i like the blue girdle angel too.

Angels can be hardier than tangs as a rule but all should be considered suspect and QT'd just the same. The main problem for angels is primarily fungal infections and are quite ceceptable to lympho. They are however much less prone to ich and [acronym:6f2cecd5ee="Head and Lateral Line Erosion"]HLLE[/acronym:6f2cecd5ee] as tangs. Dwarfs are much the same but due to size, many are cyanide caught which causes severe internal damage primarily to the liver and do not live long after capture.
