Anonome lost its tenticles
Now this is strange, my anonome lost it's top half. It no longer has any tentacles, it just has a 'body'. It is still alive, it retracts when I poke it. The only change to the tank is that I disconnected the 'undergravel filter' pump, and placed a power head in it. Now I understand that the power head probably made the water move more, but it was not directed at the anonome.. does anyone have any ideas as to why this could have happened?? Does anyone know if it will recover?

What type of ANEMONE is it? Be more specific about your setup (lighting, filtration etc..) How long have you had the anemone? Some anemones whither and die in even the most experienced aquarists tanks, I gave up wanting one a long time ago, they are better left for nature to raise.
