Carpet Anemone - Aquarium Advice

Is it possible for these things to split into two sperate ones, its been tucked away for about 3 days now and it reopened and appears to have two mouths now

I've read things about them being able to catch a damsel by 1/8" of its tail. I'm not so sure I'd want ONE, but congrats on having the right environment to encourage reproduction!

thanks, well thats funny you say that because when i cycled my tank he did get a 4 striped damsel, but everything in there now knows to stay away so hes not to bad
