Carpet/clarkii questions
We have had this pair for a couple of weeks and the clown is very attentive. In fact, I am beginning to be concerned about his level of care.
Last night, he attempted to stuff *4* lancefish into the carpet. The lancefish were intended for the grouper and lion, but when I put them in the tank, he would snatch them and take them to the anemone. The first one the anemone ate....then the clown got another one and tried stuffing it down the anemone's mouth. This morning, 2 fish were still stuck in places to the anemone. Also, he gets rather rough with his poking of the anemone...really plucking and jabbing. Is this ok? |

My clown regulary pokes and jabs in his anemone. I'm surprised your carpet didn't eat all the food. His behavior sounds normal to me.

He normally eats all the food, that is what made me concerned. Can they be overfed?
