i put in my tank when i started it up aragonite sand, but not the sugar grained size its more like 1.25 - 1.95 mm in size. i have been reading about [acronym:acb2ffbe4f="Deep Sand Bed"]dsb[/acronym:acb2ffbe4f] and want to have one but do i HAVE to have the smaller grain size to make it work right? will it not work with slightly larger grains?

Actually you need a variety of grain sizes, preferrably no larger than a particular grain size (can't remember what it is, but it's in the article above
