feather duster

I just bought a feather duster i was wondering where a good spot to put him is like in the live rock or in the sand at the bottom thanks Jester aslo what types of anomes does a clown bond with I got one that is mostly light purple withdark purple tips long tubes but my clown has not gone close to it

my tank for now is a 60g with a little live sand and then just play sand I got 80 pounds of live rock now I have a wet dry with no bio balls and a protein skimmer and [acronym="Ultra Violet"]uv[/acronym] steralizer I have power compacts 260 watts I have 1 damsels 1yellow tang 1 flame angel one yellow strip maroon clownfishand and a feather duster and a bulb anemones that the clown lives in and colony polops and some kenya tree corals and 2 fire shrimp snails and hermit crabs and some other crabs

i just got a 40g with like 6 inches of live sand and it is loaded with corals and inverts it was given to me by a friend she had it for 3 years there is a brain coral wellsophyllia and a platygyra brain worm coral green striped mushrooms and red mushrooms yellow colony polyp and button polyp and some type of hard coral not sure what it is also alot of kenya tree oh ya and 2 giant star fish

Im assuming you didn't even bother to research any on these 2 animals. What kind of lighting, and how long has your tank been set up? Anemones need strong light, good flow, and very clean water. Sounds like a condylactus anemone not a natural host to any clowns.

no not much research i listened to the [acronym:ac77cfc15f="Local Fish Store"]lfs[/acronym:ac77cfc15f] probbly not a good idea but so far so good with them I have power compact florecents 260 watts set up for 6 months what about where to put the duster thanks

Some place them on rocks, others in the sand. I would put it wherever you would like it. You might have enough light to support the anemone, just feed it once a week. Also make sure your checking your water parameters.

I just put him on top of the sand should i burry the backend in the sand at all and how long does it take for them to come out of the tube he was out at the [acronym:99a5ee0380="Local Fish Store"]lfs[/acronym:99a5ee0380] but has not been out once yet ove 8 hours now thanks
