filtration question

I have a 55 gallon tank and was wondering what would be the best filtration method i could get for 250 dollars(includes mech, chem, and bio filtration). this may include different machines. i had in mind maybe a canister filter with another machine for biological filtration. I want nice quality products. i am just staring out with live rock but intend to more to corals i learn more and more. [acronym:363ff6ef14="Thanks in Advance"]TIA[/acronym:363ff6ef14]

Get more live rock and a couple powerheads. This is all I use. I have no external/mechanical filters. I dont' know how much liverock you have now but if you could bump it up to about 70lbs then just add a few powerheads to move water.

hirocks.com = base rock 2x30# for $32.00x2=$64.00
liverock.com = liverocks gulf(for the price) 10# = $43.90

CPR backpack Skimmer = $120ish
then I'd spring for an extra [acronym:5900e29685="power head or Measure of the concentration of hydrogen ions, depending on context"]PH[/acronym:5900e29685]

not the best... but it will give you decent equipment + 70lbs of [acronym:5900e29685="Live rock"]LR[/acronym:5900e29685] for your 55gal tank

but thats just me
