Hammer bleaching

ive had this peachy pink hammer for about 8 months and it was always doing really well, but recently it started bleaching and is almost all white now. its placed low in the aquarium under [acronym:66e6c87cc8="Power compact fluorescent"]PC[/acronym:66e6c87cc8] lights, but always liked it b4. if i feed it more zooplanktin, should it get its color back eventually?? anything else i can do to help it? all tank params are in check, and it does seem to be plitting into two heads, but i dont think this would cause it to bleach thanks for any help.

Send a message via AIM to brndfrb
maybe the bulb intensity has deminished and you may need to replace your bulbs or raise the hammer higher in the tank.

the bulbs are less than a year and everything lower than the hammer is doing well.

How's your chemistry and are you using any [acronym:993be254ec="Phosphate"]PO4[/acronym:993be254ec] removing products?

Cheers
Steve
