Looking for a particular site...
I can't seem to find that post that links to a page with pictures of different metal halide bulb brands and Kelvins and I have seen it here before - anyone know what I am talking about? I just purchased a 2 month old 48" Coralife Aqualite Pro with 2x96w actinics and 2x150w HQI Metal Halides. I am guessing the MHs are 10ks (all the bulbs are what comes stock with the canopy) and I find that even with the actinics on, the MHs whiteness overpowers them and the light is so white that it's closer to the yellow range. I like the more purple or bluish (while still looking white) look... do you think I would be better with 14k bulbs or 20k? If I ran a more bluer or purple [acronym:9c54974d28="Metal halide light"]MH[/acronym:9c54974d28], would I need to swith my actinics for 10ks or something? Thanks!
