Well.. So far so good...

I thought for a while that I was going to lose the starfish... He was for the mostpart motionless, and felt limp to the touch... But now, he is back to his normal self... Chasing the crabs around the tank...

Here's a question....

Since I saved about 1/2 the water, keeping it circulated and heated on the way up here, will I have to go through a complete recycle from adding the new water?

It was [acronym:3da3e52d88="Reverse osmosis"]ro[/acronym:3da3e52d88]/[acronym:3da3e52d88="Deionization"]di[/acronym:3da3e52d88] water i bought a an [acronym:3da3e52d88="Local Fish Store"]LFS[/acronym:3da3e52d88], and mixed with Instant Ocean, letting it sit for 24 hours to stabilize before refilling the tank.

I would use as much of the old water as possible. The more the better! 1/2 is a HUGE water change. If living things are still in buckets, I would slowly add new water to the buckets, as they fill up, put the bucket water back in the tank. I would do a very slow acclimation.
