i dont know if this is normal, the shroom is new....the fish always hid in the rocks before...now its his new friend...i guess that means the shroom is not going to eat it

Those blennys do indeed sit on things vs swim in open water. They will swim in/around the rocks and as soon as they stop swimming they settle down on the rock or substrate. I guess in this guys case he enjoys the padding of the mushroom over the hard and sharp rocks.
