open brain.....Help want to save it! - Aquarium Advice

We just got this open brain a few days ago. Well I saw the copperband nip at it. Is it gonna make it?

It doesn't look too bad. As long as the butterfly is not bothering it anymore it should do fine if you have it in good lighting on your sand bed.
