Powerhead
whats the best placement for powerheads in a 55 [acronym:0133340bc1="Gallon"]gal[/acronym:0133340bc1] [acronym:0133340bc1="Fish only with live rock"]FOWLR[/acronym:0133340bc1] tank. I have two Rio 800, is that enough to circulate the water? I also bought a spinner with two duckbill inserts for one of my powerheads. where should i place this?

be careful with Rios, they have a habit of burning up and dumping oil into the tank, killing fish, rock, inverts...you name it.
keep them clean and that should make them more reliable. if one burns up, replace with a Maxi-jet.

I would place them on each opposite wall, facing each other, so that the flow would meet in the middle, causing erratic wave simulation.
I would place them a few inches just below the water line.
