proper lighting..

I have a 30 gallon w/ 45 Lbs. [acronym:0dd7040fa0="Live rock"]LR[/acronym:0dd7040fa0], 3 inch sand bed, protein skimmer, etc.
what wattage of lighting do you recommend to keep a bulb anenome, and ricordia mushrooms well taken care of? I have a 75 watt [acronym:0dd7040fa0="Very high output fluorescent"]VHO[/acronym:0dd7040fa0] on the way, 10,000k. Should I buy a 50/50 actinic [p75 watt, 12,00 K]or full actinic? how long should I run each, both?
thanks for any insights.

[acronym:b938a0c1ba="In my opinion"]IMO[/acronym:b938a0c1ba] you might like the complment of the actinic bulb and the 10K bulb more than just the 10K bulb alone. I would suggest a true [acronym:b938a0c1ba="Actinic lighting"]03[/acronym:b938a0c1ba] actinic bulb vs a 50/50 or some higher kelvin bulb.

If the bulbs are on different ballasts then you can set the actinic to come on an hour before and go off an hour after the 10K bulb. If they are on the same ballast then they will turn on/off at the same time.

Shoot for a 12 hour light exposure.
