Quarantine.. - Aquarium Advice

Should u also quarantine inverts?

Inverts don't get ich but they can carry it on their shells(or rocks if it's a coral). However, I don't see how you could tell if they were carriers. I don't [acronym:7a82f8b459="quarantine or quart depending on context"]qt[/acronym:7a82f8b459] my inverts. [acronym:7a82f8b459="In my opinion"]IMO[/acronym:7a82f8b459] it's counterproductive and stresses them for no reason since you can't tell about them.

It's not typically necessary but still a good step if you have the extra equipment. At the very least ensure you do not but items from fish systems or from systems connected to tanks containing fish. It's still not a guarantee you'll never introduce it but a step towards preventing it.

ok.. thank u..I'm having a time finding a reliable [acronym:815226eb95="Local Fish Store"]lfs[/acronym:815226eb95]..I really just don't see how some of these people are still in business without the proper research on [acronym:815226eb95="Saltwater"]SW[/acronym:815226eb95] animals...
