Quick Powerhead Question

Is it safe to use a [acronym:7db523f431="power head or Measure of the concentration of hydrogen ions, depending on context"]PH[/acronym:7db523f431] that was in my [acronym:7db523f431="quarantine or quart depending on context"]qt[/acronym:7db523f431] tank once upon a time with Coppersafe? I remember cleaning it well (bleach, rinsed about 20 times) now been sitting in the closet for a while

I want to use it for mixing fresh salt and water for my main tank.

I'd run it through for about 10 minutes in a container with flowing warm/hot water by putting it in the sink and letting the water flow into the container. You should be fine but I like to be extra careful especially with some of the accidents I've had. I haven't used bleach that often so I don't know how long it stays but [acronym:745f786d5b="In my opinion"]IMO[/acronym:745f786d5b] you should be ok.

Anyone else here have more experience with this? I'm pretty curious myself because I've got some stuff stored away....

with bleach just place it in a bucket and add some declorinator... it will get rid of the bacteria killing power of it. And water should get the rest of the bad parts of the bleach off.
