Quiet one pump not so quiet anymore
i got a quiet one pump not too long ago and installed it on my established aquarium to replace a dieing pump and get more flow. when i first set it up it ran beautifully. really quiet and nice flow.
well i took on a little project this weekend to replace my [acronym:99a7385eb7="Plastic pipe"]pvc[/acronym:99a7385eb7] plumbing to vinyl tubing, and during the process, the pump ran a little dry for short periods of time. not totally dry, just had a little air go through the tube when the water level fell too low in my sump. now its running pretty loudly and my tank is completely clouded with micro bubbles. anyone know how to fix this? or what the problem might be? thanks a lot ***Duplicate post removed by Bearfan*** |

ya might have to pull the front cover off and see if something stuck in there !! i opened mt little giant the other day and found a snail in it !! never thought they be strong enough to climb up stream into the pump !!
