Red Slime Help

Hey All,

I just noticed Red Slime growing on the back of my overflow and spreading to my glass. Are there any tips I should know? Any effective treatments?

I'd really appreciate any input on the matter.

Thanks,
-Brodie

Your first defense is water changes. Make sure you use high quality [acronym:891ab2a1cd="Reverse osmosis"]RO[/acronym:891ab2a1cd]/[acronym:891ab2a1cd="Deionization"]DI[/acronym:891ab2a1cd] water. During this time, evaluate your feedings. Make sure you rinse all frozen foods in [acronym:891ab2a1cd="Reverse osmosis"]RO[/acronym:891ab2a1cd]/[acronym:891ab2a1cd="Deionization"]DI[/acronym:891ab2a1cd] prior to adding to the tank and cut back feedings to once every two or three days. If, after several water changes, you are still having problems we can continue.
