Refractometer

I've got an RHS-10ATC.

Does it ever need to be re-calibrated? If so, how often?

I calibrate mine each time I use it, but it's never off, I've had it for over a year and I've never had to adjust it after I did it initially, but I want to know it's right each time I use it

I calibrate mine every so often but its not every usage. If I accidently jar the unit I will calibrate it before using it again.

Either [acronym:3d865b31d1="Reverse osmosis"]RO[/acronym:3d865b31d1] water or [acronym:3d865b31d1="Deionization"]DI[/acronym:3d865b31d1] water. Basicly a water sorce that has as few impurities as possible since various impurities will affect how the light is refracted thru it onto the scale.
