Refugium Contents? - Aquarium Advice

Hello All,
With my aquarium that is currently cycling (75g), I have a [acronym:b9b5d7f8dc="Do it yourself"]DIY[/acronym:b9b5d7f8dc] sump (30g), which has a small refugium that is about 4 or 5 gallons, I would guess.

I've seen alot of talk of putting "Mud" in it (Ecosystems Miracle Mud and a few others).

1) What do most of you with refugiums have in it (sand, mud, [acronym:b9b5d7f8dc="Live rock"]LR[/acronym:b9b5d7f8dc]???)

2) Do most of you do Cheato or Caluerpa, or both, and why (Rev, now is your chance to sell me some of that Cheato in the classifieds).

3) How soon can I put all that stuff in there?

I know fuges are good, just not sure what to do with mine.

Sand and rock rubble.

I'd use chaeto. Doesn't go asexual.

Dunno. I'd guess after cycling.

Got light down there (in da sump)?

I'll have lights down there, on a "reverse cycle," per the suggestion of the article AA has on fuges.
