refugium substrate?

What would you guys/gals recommend for a refugium substrate?

1. [acronym:5d3ca9197c="Home Depot"]HD[/acronym:5d3ca9197c] tropical play sand - I have this in the display tank 4" deep

2. CaribSea Mineral Mud - Is it better than [acronym:5d3ca9197c="Home Depot"]HD[/acronym:5d3ca9197c] sand? $19 a gallon

3. Kent Marine Biosediment - How bout it? $20 for 12lbs

Thanks,

Paul.

I dunno, I got ripped and bought into the miracle mud 10lbs for 70 bucks. From what i understand its not much different than buying potting soil. I have heard good things about kent Bio, but no hands on experience. I have really positive results with the miracle mud, don't get me wrong but its just way to expensive for worm dirt LoL

Would a mix of aragonite sand and Kent Marine Biosediment be better than aragonite sand alone? Or am I just wasting my money?

Paul.
