Which sand? Super fine or normal?
I Need sand for my reef tank i'm putting together.
Which is better and why? this one is super fine: http://www.drsfostersmith.com/Produc...&N=2004+113554 this one is normal sized i guess? http://www.drsfostersmith.com/Produc...&N=2004+113554 And they don't say if they are water packed or not do they? or am i blind? lol thanks guys.

If you want to have sand sifting fish in your tank, or (like the webstie says) any sort of rays, your going to probably want the oolitic. Only downside really is that it can get stirred up a bit more easily, and thus into power filters, powerheads, and other mechanical equipment in the tank, more easily.
I have regular grade reef sand in my tank, and I really like it. It's just not ideal for sandsifters. Otherwise, to the best of my knowledge, it's all a matter of preference.

I have regular grade sand and have two sand sifters. A dragon and pink spotted goby. They`ve been happily sifting for a couple years now.
