Thank you Refractometer!!!! - Aquarium Advice

Here I thought I was doing hyposalinity at 1.009 but today when I received my refractometer I was extremely surprised (well a little surprised, the ich never fell off the clowns). Refractometer read 1.014!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hypo my @ss!! Best 50 bucks I've spent.

Heh, hyposalinity is all but impossible with a hydrometer.

just make sure you've calibrated your refractometer with pure [acronym:4daecae5f0="Reverse osmosis"]RO[/acronym:4daecae5f0] water.

Calibrated with Tab, Drinking and Distill, all tested at 0.
