Yellow Tang Has VERY Small white Dots on lateral fins - Aquarium Advice

I just purchased a small yellow tang. Once in my tank I noticed it has some very small, less than a pin head, dots on it lateral fins. nothing on its body. Is there any cause for concern here?

both of the tangs i bought have them. all the ones in the store also had them i hope its not bad .lol

One of the main reasons all new fish go through the <<quarantine>> process prior to adding to the main display tank. It allows for proper time to pass to observe and ensure there is no possibility of parasite or disease.

I would suggest getting a QT set up [acronym:c3bab42005="As soon as possible"]ASAP[/acronym:c3bab42005] to be safe if needed. It may be ich or might be nothing but leaving it to chance will not be in the fish's best interest...
