Dwarf Sag

I have some Dwarf Sag in my tank, some of it is 6.5 inches tall. I would like to use this as a foreground plant. Would it be okay to trim it down a few inches or would it kill it?

You can try it to see what happens but it may turn brown where the cut is. I would try only a few pieces to begin with to see what happens.

That's typical dwarf sag, altho it should 'fan out' more. I find the leaves/blades are indeed 6" long, but the plant is only 3.5" tall.

Here's my tank, dwarf sag. in the front right corner: http://home.neb.rr.com/malkore/

75gallon, standard dimensions.

Also for quicker growth cut the runners off of the main plant.
For other options you could try mice e tennelles or e tenneles or

Lilaeopsis brasiliensis
